Review - What If? by Barbara Elsborg
My rating:
Garrett is a fae who works in his father's Christmas shop, making magical toys and sometimes dealing with faeries who have broken the rules while in the human realm. One day his store is visited by Crispin, an apparently human young man about Garrett's age who shouldn't be able to see or enter the shop, but does so anyway. They spend a magical day together, and Garrett gives Crispin a specially created bee that should be able to lead Crispin back to the store when it reopens the following year.

Lucas works in a law firm where he's supposed to be IT support but has ended up as an under-appreciated general factotum. One of the company's clients is a wealthy businessman who keeps a ‘herd’ of male slaves and has been accused of murdering one of them. Lucas becomes fascinated by the idea of extreme submission, as well as the man, Master Forrest, when they finally meet. The young man is increasingly drawn into the world of kink, but can he really trust his new master with his life?

Review - The Gilded Mirror by L.M. Somerton
My rating:
Landry and Gage have just moved in together and are browsing a flea market when Landry spots an interesting old mirror. The stall owner sells it for what Landry thinks is a ridiculously low price. While cleaning the mirror, he finds what looks like a treasure map, and the hunt is on. Meanwhile, Gage and his partner are engrossed in a money laundry investigation that seems to be going nowhere, until a friend of Landry's is mugged while delivering a package.
Review - Jocks for Sale Parts 8 - 11 by Josh Hunter
My rating:
“Jocks For Sale” is an erotic fantasy containing non-consensual sex and violence. It is offered in serialized form as connected installments (currently 11). I'm reviewing it in batches, so there's a more coherent picture of the entire story. Cody seems to be enjoying new privileges in Part 8. He's been given the job of training the ‘new boy’ Dane. Dane was a guest of the hotel who managed to insult all the staff and abuse all the slaves with his temperamental, entitled behavior.

Review - Full Circle by Blaine D. Arden
My rating:
Children in the village are falling ill, and it isn't just the usual summer-time fever that they usually recover from. When truth-seeker Kelnaht looks into what might be causing it, he finds links to an old crime by one of forester Taruif's predecessors. With Ianys' daughter at risk, it puts a considerable strain on the relationship between the three, as Kelnaht and Taruif race to track down the culprit and find a cure.
Review - Calarni by Beryll Brackhaus and Osiris BrackHaus
My rating:
Yaden and Ivan are off on another mission for the Lotus Knights. This time they're off to explore a new star system that's been found at the end of one of the gateways ships use to jump between systems. It seems simple enough, but Lotus Knight missions never go according to plan. Things go sideways rather spectacularly this time, and the pair find themselves in another galaxy with no apparent way home, or to even contact their friends.
