Scott, Ryan and Dare continue to try and figure out the three-way relationship they started in the first book, Us. It’s not an easy thing for Ryan and Scott to open up to each other, or to Dare, and Dare has to be careful not to push the guys too hard or too fast. On top of that, there are concerns about where Scott and Ryan are living, as well as what to tell people about their budding relationship.

Chuck and Jordan have been dancing around their mutual attraction for a while now. Chuck knew nothing of the BDSM lifestyle before private investigation agency he works at took on the case of Corey’s abuse by a former dom, but he’s fascinated by the intensity of the relationships he sees between the owners of Kiss of Leather and their submissive partners. It’s the kind of relationship he’s always wanted but didn’t understand.

The grand opening of the new BDSM club, Kiss of Leather, is just a few days away and everyone is working hard to get everything ready. Unfortunately, one of the three partners, Josh, is so single-minded in his desire to make sure everything is in order for the opening that he’s ignoring his sub David. Even when it’s pointed out to him, he has trouble staying on track, giving David the attention he needs and deserves.

City boy Jake has always played it safe. But he has begun to think his life as a reliable accountant is missing something. So, he plans an adventure, hiking the Appalachian Trial alone. But going off-trail, in the middle of a rainstore, isn’t the best idea he has, and Jake soon finds himself at the bottom of a hill, sprained and bruised. In his dazed state, Jake thinks he’s seeing visions when a huge man appears to pluck him out of the wet mud.
Review - The Edge by SJD Peterson

In this direct sequel to Limitless, Nash and Joshua continue to try and build a relationship as Dom and sub, which isn’t easy. Nash worries that if he gives in to Joshua’s desire for extreme pain, he will be reinforcing the younger man’s destructive behavior. Joshua has never really had stability or happiness in his life, and he’s come to believe it’s his fault, so he’s just waiting for the day when Nash realizes it was a mistake to take on someone so messed up.
Review - Serving Him by L.M. Somerton
My rating:
Although relatively inexperienced, Rowan knows he is a submissive. He has a strong desire to please and his current job at a small English inn doesn’t quite give him the scope to give all he can, or the satisfaction that comes with it. So, when he sees an ad for a job opening at an exclusive BDSM hideaway called “The Retreat” that is effectively for a house sub, he jumps at the chance to apply and is thrilled to get the job.

As Derek and Corey settle into their D/s relationship, Derek and his business partners at Kiss of Leather remain determined to bring Corey’s abuser to justice. To that end, their lawyer brings in a private investigator, Stone. Meanwhile, Kyle’s old friend Marshall has resurfaced, somewhat the worse for wear. Marshall has always rebelled against being a full time submissive, yet a strong Dom to take him in hand is precisely what he needs.

While Gavin and Kyle from the previous book, Building Bonds are settling nicely into their D/s relationship, one of Gavin’s partners in the Kiss of Leather venture, Derek, remains steadfastly single. He’s been burned by one too many fickle subs. Then Gavin and Derek’s other partner Josh asks a big favor: his sub’s childhood friend Corey has just escaped from an abusive relationship and needs a place to stay until Josh gets back to town.

Shy carpenter Kyle has a knack for building exquisite dungeon equipment, even though he himself is not in the lifestyle and doesn’t believe his old friend when he tells Kyle he’s a natural sub. When Gavin approaches Kyle with an offer to build equipment for the new BDSM club he is opening with his friends called “Kiss of Leather”, he just assumes Kyle must be an experienced submissive, and takes quite an interest in the young man.

Psychologist Ben and ex-police detective Gavin are back for another adventure. Things start innocently enough, as they always do. The two men are just married and off on their honeymoon at the Puget Sound island cabin that Ben spent many summers at when he was younger. But when Ben starts reading through his monther’s old journals he uncovers evidence that the car crash that killed his parents may not have been an accident.
