The alien invasion didn't go at all like anyone expected from the Hollywood movies. A group of squid-like beings from a planet with a dying sun showed up one day and politely asked if they could stay. They settled among humans and began the long process of trying to integrate into human society. Cameron's alien neighbor, George, keeps flirting with him, but Cameron isn't sure the alien is serious, and his job keeps him very busy.

Review - Uncle Zach by Bey Deckard

Owen's particular kink is being “used” – topped by anonymous men who orgasm inside him and then make way for another. He rented a cheap motel room, left the door unlocked, and posted on a hookup app inviting all comers. However, Owen is mortified when he realizes that one of the men using him is his uncle Zach. Zach is equally upset when he recognizes Owen and quickly leaves. Owen can't get the encounter out of his mind.

After siting “on the shelf” for nearly ten years, I'm please to announce that I've published my latest book, “Good Dawg.” I started this book shortly after I returned to the United States while I was still looking for work. It was more or less complete when a job turned up, and then work and settling into a new life distracted me. The story never completely left me, as I would often turn scenes over and over in my head.

This ninth installment concludes the Tales from The Edge series more or less where it began, with Joe and Olly.

Joe and Olly, along with Heath and Aiden, are looking forward to spending a few days at The Retreat, a new venture by their friend and owner of The Underground, Carey. Joe wants to take Olly's mind off his recent experiences as a hostage, which also means he has no intention of telling his sub that Olly's former tormentor has been released from prison. Once they return to The Edge, it will be a mad scramble to get everything ready for the tenth anniversary of the business.

Joe and Olly have been living their happily-ever-after for a couple of years. Joe would like nothing more than to keep his sub close, but Olly is good at his job as a nurse at a nearby military hospital. What starts as a typical day of getting some new patients settled turns into a series of traumatic events for Olly and all the men in his life. Although most of the books in the Tales From The Edge series are more or less standalone, this story is a sequel to the first two books, so you really need to have read the first book, Reaching the Edge, and the second, Living on the Edge, before this one to get a complete understanding of the relationship Joe and Olly have.

Fireman Beau first met Marty when he helped to rescue the young intelligence service analyst from a church that had been bombed. He was attracted to the geeky man from the start but has held off making a move on him. After a lousy shift dealing with the latest work of a serial arsonist, Beau decides he should stop wasting time and ask Marty out. Marty can't believe his luck.

Kai was orphaned at a young age and raised by his uncle, who sent now 20 years old young man to a conversion clinic when he discovered Kai was gay. Carey's submissive Alistair insisted that Kai come with him when they were rescued from the clinic. When they arrive at Carey's club, the bar manager Harry immediately takes Kai under his wing. There's an instant attraction between the two, but Kai has no experience as a submissive.

Becket and Christian have been doing scenes together for a while. They both want to take things further, but Becket's work for the security services makes his schedule unpredictable. Just when they're starting to work things out, a terrorist bomb turns everything on its head. The incident provides the catalyst both men need to consider what's really important. Both of the main characters appeared in the earlier books of the series.
