This ninth installment concludes the Tales from The Edge series more or less where it began, with Joe and Olly. The two met in the first book and have been a constant through all the stories in the series about good dominants finding their perfect submissive. As a whole, they form a found family that helps Joe and Olly through their latest trials.
While other sweet submissives have been the focus of many of the stories of the series, Olly has definitely been the star of the entire show. He's the very definition of irrepressible. Joe is his rock, and the two together make a very convincing couple.
Although the stories in this long series have followed a somewhat predictable pattern — experienced yet single dominant meets the perfect-for-him submissive, but there's a problem — each story introduces a fresh set of characters and a plot that's usually a page-turner even though you know how things will turn out. While some of the story arcs have been somewhat topical, these books, for the most part, are escapist kinky romance at its best.
