Review - Echoes of the Gods by Gaia Sol
My rating: 
Yngvi is a soldier of Midgard, defending Aasgard from any attackers, of which there haven’t been many of late. So, he spends his day around the market and taverns waiting for something interesting to happen, or someone appealing to come his way. It doesn’t matter much whether they’re male for female. One day a dark stranger catches his eye, and forever changes Yngvi’s world. Shara is actually from another realm, on a quest to stop a rogue god out to destroy all the ancient realms.
Review - Unraveled by K.M. Neuhold
My rating:
Auto mechanic Max has his hands full taking care of his daughter, who he shares custody of with her mother. He is definitely thinking about finding the “right girl” and settling down, but nobody he meets seems to spark any deep feelings. Max’s roommate and best friend Clay’s situation isn’t much different. He’s busy running his business and helping Max take care of his daughter. Only, in Clay’s case, he just hasn’t found the right guy, which is doubly hard for him given his need to be tied up to really enjoy sex.

Review - The Harvest Young: Bound by Destiny by M.A. Church
My rating:
This second book of The Harvest Young series picks up several years after the first book, Bound by Fate. Where Szin was the focus of the first book, his brother Raiden is at the center of this story, along with his mate Dayo. The two young mixed Tah’Narian/human males are both serving on a star ship, and now that their careers are established they’re thinking of starting a family. But a couple of seemingly inconsequential encounters on the planet Quai sets off a chain of events that may destroy the couple’s plans.

Review - Hart and Sol by Kass Barrow
My rating:
Sol wakes up in the gutter of a street in a strange place, with no memory of how he got there. The only things he know is his name, and that he is a prostitute. However, he doesn’t really seem to know what he is doing when it comes to turning tricks, and soon lands in hot water. Perhaps Sol isn’t who he thinks he is, but then who is he and what is he doing?

Review - And God Belched by Rob Rosen

Many people believe that there’s someone special out there, meant just for them. Randy has believed that his whole life, perhaps more strongly than most. Only, it turns out that Randy’s soul mate is actually from another, not quite parallel, universe; one that’s been intermittently intersecting with Randy’s since just before he was born. The pursuit of his true love takes the aptly-named Randy, along with his younger brother Craig, into the other universe, and into a world very unlike Earth.

Review - All the World's an Undead Stage by Angel Martinez
My rating:
The Offbeat Crimes series [finally] comes to an end in this sixth and last book. The squad’s not-quite-completely-a-vampire Carrington takes the lead, along with his boyfriend Erasmus. All the officers are hot on the trail of whoever it is that keeps throwing all manner of paranormal creatures in their way, as recounted in the first five books. The main threats this time are zombie actors, who seem to be menacing most of the squad in general, and one officer in particular.
Review - Hell to Pay by Zen DiPietro
My rating:
Cabot Layne and his unlikely team just seem to keep getting sucked deeper into their involvement with the Planetary Alliance (PAC) as everyone seeks to avoid the impeding conflict with the invading Barony coalition. The situation makes for unlikely bedfellows, such as the PAC and notorious crime boss Ditnya Caine. While “Hell to Pay” still features the finely tuned writing of this series, it doesn’t really advance the story or the characters very far.

Review - Cherished by Two by Morticia Knight
My rating:
Human Chris continues to adapt to his life as soul mate to his two Alasharian masters, as well as tying to puzzle out how it is that he is in some way key to the survival of both races. However, as the nature of the threat becomes clearer, so does that fact that Chris and his masters, as well as his family, are in great danger. This second book in the Soul Match series picks right up where the first one, Slave for Two, leaves off.

Review - Striker by Lexi Ander
My rating:
Zeus may have been hoping for some quality time with Dargon and Alpha, to whom he was mated in Alpha Trine, but that’s not going to happen any time soon. The three, along with Zeus’ two brothers, are heading towards Valespia with their precious cargo. Only, the planet has gone very quiet, so the crew has no idea what they’re flying into when they get there. Picking up right where “Alpha Trine” left off, this sequel offers quite a roller-coaster ride as the group makes their way to the planet Valespia, while trying to pick up allies along the way.

Szin and his twin brother Raiden are both part human and part Tah’Narian but Szin looks far more like a frail human than his brother, or just about anyone else in his circle of friends and family, other than his human dad. Szin has always known Takeo considered them fated to be mates almost since birth, but he keeps trying to convince himself as well as Takeo that he’s not good enough for the powerful warrior.
