My rating:
Tom, the plumber with a supernatural knack for finding things, is back for another adventure. Tom is settling into his relationship with private detective Phil, whom he reunited with in the first book of this series. But Tom isn’t the only one in a new relationship. His sister Cherry announces that she is going to marry a priest. When Cherry gets poisoned at her engagement party, Tom and Phil are naturally on the case.

Review - Natural Beauty by Meraki P. Lyhne
My rating:
While plans proceed for Daniel’s investiture as king of the North American cubi, the young man himself still isn’t completely sure he will be up to the task. The prospect would be daunting enough, without the added responsibility of being practically in a state of war with rogue elements of the human military. Meanwhile, freed “breeder” Alex is having trouble adjusting to life outside the cubi world. He felt used as a sex slave by the cubi, but now that he’s home with his homophobic parents and working a thankless job in a stock room, he begins to see his former life in a new light.
Review - A King's Vow by Xander Tracy
My rating:
When the king of Kenta dies without an heir, his ward Naxar steps into the vacuum to reunite the kingdom, a task which requires him to be ruthless. Just as he is subduing the last of the nobels opposing him, Naxar receives a letter from the king of Ashwall Castle, where he spent his youth before being sent off to Kenta. The king seeks Naxar’s help with a famine that plagues his land, and promises to, in effect, “make it worth his while.

Review - Fighting for All by Morticia Knight
My rating:
Chris and his Alasharian mates arrive at the mountain hideout where Morgan, Graham and the rest of the humans and Alasharians have gone to escape the Nall and other aliens infected by the void. Unfortunately the enemy forces are hot on their heels, so the time for a final showdown is drawing near. Can the uninfected Alasharians and the surviving human work together to fight off the void? This is quite an action-packed conclusion to the Soul Match series, in which all of the characters introduced in the previous four books take part.

Review - Evolved by N.R. Walker
My rating:
Lloyd’s ex planted the seed when he told him only a robot could satisfy his need for order, quite and intellect. The seed grows and soon Lloyd is serious considering the purchase of an android. It is the year 2068 after all, and “fully functional” androids or gynoids are readily available, for those than can afford them. It seems to be the only way Lloyd can have a relationship with someone he can stand to be around, and what could go wrong?
Review - Dom by Jason Collins
My rating:
Dominick is an account executive at a major New York marketing agency. He’s very good at his job and expects to be made a partner in the firm soon. His drive to succeed in his career hasn’t left him any time for personal relationships. When Dominick spots Sean celebrating his college graduation in a hotel bar while visiting a small town, he sees it as just an opportunity to scratch an itch.

Review - Hatshepsut: The Pharaoh-Queen of Egypt by in60Learning
My rating:
Hatshepsut is a figure that’s always fascinated me, although she is probably not widely known, so when I saw that in60Learning had a book about her, I decided to use it to learn a little more. She ruled Egypt around 1479 to 1458 BC and is from the line that gave us Tutankhamun. The popular headline is that she was the first woman to rule as Pharaoh in ancient Egypt, but one of the big revelations of the book is that this is not exactly true.

Review - The Harvest: Journey's End by M.A. Church
My rating:
Dale may be settling into his strange new life with his Tah’Narian mate Keyno after being “harvested” from Earth, but that doesn’t mean his struggle with the changes is over. Without doubt, the biggest challenge of all will be fulfilling the need which caused the Tah’Narians to initiate the harvest in the first place: conceiving and bearing a child for his mate. That need provides the main backbone of the story, but there are numerous other things that happen to Dale and his adopted ‘family’ along the way.

Review - Pressure Head by J.L. Merrow
My rating:
Tom’s life took a sharp turn at the age of 17 when he was hit by a car while running away from bullies. Rather than pursue a high flying career in law or medicine like his siblings, Tom settles for a quiet life as a plumber in the town of St Albans, where he occasionally puts his ability to “find things” to use helping the local police. He thinks he has made peace with what happened to him, until, that is, he meets up with one of the bullies who chased him, who also happened to be Tom’s first crush.

Review - Surrendering for Two by Morticia Knight
My rating:
Unlike Chris and his cousin Morgan, Graham wasn’t fortunate enough to fall into the hands of “uninfected” Alasharians who wouldn’t harm him. Instead, he had the misfortune to end up with the Alasharian leader, the Nall, who has been infected by the evil force of the Void. The Nall abuses Graham sexually and even scars him before the young man is rescued from being put to death at the end of the previous book, Hiding From Two.
