Review - Cambodia by Danny Tyran
My rating:
Gabriel is an aspiring young journalist. He's relaxing at a club one night when he spots Zach Mendel, a well-known journalist also rumored to be a very sadistic master. When he learns Zach is looking for a new assistant-cum-slave, Gabriel decides to pursue the opportunity. The young man is not inexperienced when it comes to submission, but can he be the kind of slave the experienced reporter is looking for?
Review - A Double-Edged Sword by L.M. Somerton
My rating:
Becket and Christian have been doing scenes together for a while. They both want to take things further, but Becket's work for the security services makes his schedule unpredictable. Just when they're starting to work things out, a terrorist bomb turns everything on its head. The incident provides the catalyst both men need to consider what's really important. Both of the main characters appeared in the earlier books of the series.
Review - New Life in Autumn by Michael G. Williams
My rating:
Valerius is dead. He watched himself pass away through the eyes of a golem his mind was copied into. The new body may be free of the physical and genetic defects that made his old life so hard, but his thoughts are still on the mysteries he never got to solve. Chief among them is the question of what happens to all the street kids who simply disappear from Autumn.

Review - Auctioned by Cara Dee
My rating:
Gray is a college senior in a small town on the Washington coast. He's on his way home one evening when he's accosted by two men who drug him and bundle him into the trunk of their car. He spends what feels like months being shuttled from place to place, along with several other young me. They're treated like cattle, only occasionally being let out of cages to be hosed down and use a bathroom.

Review - The Alien Emissary by Eryn Ivers
My rating:
Bryant has been working, albeit unwillingly, for one of the criminal gangs that operate on the space station for many years, so he’s no stranger to breaking the law. However, burglary isn’t one of the things he’s had a lot of practice at. But, he needs money quickly to keep his daughter from being shipped out to a prison planet, and stealing a small trinket from a fancy ship in the dock seems like the easiest way to get it.
Review - Deception by Grace R. Duncan
My rating:
Cyrus and Nadir have been friends since they were in their teens. The two orphans were living on the street when they met and formed a partnership that kept them safe and fed for many years. It wasn't until they were caught stealing from an unscrupulous merchant and chose life as pleasure slaves in the palace over the dungeon that they realized they were in love. It's difficult to be lovers when your ‘job’ is to be the sexual plaything of whichever noble chooses you for the night, but the two men manage to find ways to be together over the years, despite the attempts of the cruel old ruler.
Review - Smoldering Ember by Meraki P. Lyhne
My rating:
Kindly note: This series is very much meant to be read in order. If you haven't yet read the previous books of this series, this review may contain spoilers about how they turn out. Matt's life gets even more complicated now that he's confirmed to be the new incarnation of the legendary warrior Sköll. The biggest challenge is the circumstances of his rising, having been bitten by a Völsung, the enemy he is destined to fight.
Review - The Poison Bottle by L.M. Somerton
My rating:
Landry is just going about his business of opening up Treasure Trove Antiques when he discovers a dead body in the doorway of the shop. The police are soon called, and that brings Landry's Dom, police detective Gage, on the scene. The dead man turns out to be the owner of another antique shop and starts the two down a dangerous path on the trail of a murderer. Will Landry's penchant for getting in trouble finally get the best of him?
Review - Dearest Milton James by N.R. Walker
My rating:
Malachi is a fun-loving young gay man with a sunny outlook on life. The only blemish on his fabulous life is work. His inability to keep a job is driving his father crazy. Dad has arranged one last chance. He's arranged for Malachi to work at the “dead letter” warehouse. Things are not looking good, even less so when the young man meets his new boss, Julian. The slightly older man who always dresses in shades of brown seems the definition of dull.
