New Version of The Naga's Treasure, and I'm on ARE
I’ve got a couple of new, well, new-ish, things to tell you about: The Naga’s Treasure First, the really new thing, because I just finished it, is a new edition of one of my earliest books, The Naga’s Treasure. I’ve been a little surprised at how well this book continues to do. This was one of those books (and there have been more since) that just took root in my head and emerged in long sessions at the keyboard over the course of a few weeks.

Review - Aliens, Smith and Jones
My rating:
Connor Smith works for Primrose, a super-secret organization tasked with controlling the alien presence and their artifacts in the UK. As the personal assistant to one of the team leaders, he’s right in the thick of things, from hunting down six-armed monkeys run amok to cataloging artifacts for the archives. It’s a job that can sometimes be 24/7, which doesn’t leave much time for a private life. So, when Connor’s best friend and coworker Isa introduces him to Jason, a man who doesn’t give up easily, it seems like a match made in heaven.

Review - The Elegant Corpse
My rating:
Roger Corso is a detective with the LAPD, and a more tightly wound individual would be hard to imagine. He could make Joe Friday look like a loose cannon and Felix Unger look like a slob (★). Part of that is just who he is, but there’s also a defensive wall around the part of him that still grieves for his dead lover. He also has to be on guard about his private life.

Review - The Flesh Cartel #1: Capture
My rating:
In this work of speculative fiction, people with enough money and the right connections can buy anything, including their own personal sex slaves. The Flesh Cartel is a super-secret, highly organized group that supplies these human cattle. They take people nobody will really miss and transform them into the perfect slave. “The Flesh Cartel” series follows two brothers as they are taken and processed through the cartel’s machinery. Note that this is a serial publication.

Just Published - Letting Go
I’ve just published the latest - and last for now - book about David & Gun: Letting Go. In this latest book about the two lovers, we follow the couple and the two young men they brought into their lives in Five At Table, Tom and Chang. “Letting Go” weaves together a series of stories in which David and Gun help the two young men discover the paths that will take them out into the world.

Review - Afflicted
My rating:
Hunter is blind, but fiercely independent. The quickest and easiest way to piss him off is to treat him with any kind of pity. He has escaped the clutches of an over-protective mother, built a life and a business of his own, and he’s not going back. The only thing missing from his life is someone to share it with. In the gay world, which puts such a high emphasis on bodily perfection, Hunter’s disability is a major barrier.

Bangkok's Penis Garden
The topic of “monuments to the male member” came up again recently on social media, so I thought it might actually make for an interesting topic for a continuing series of articles - there are a lot of penis statues around Southeast Asia, and I have pictures of many of them. This article is about a little shrine in Bangkok called the Chao Mae Tubtim shrine. It's quite well known, and in most guidebooks, but it's slightly out-of-the-way so it doesn't get very many visitors.

Review - Mastering the Ride
My rating:
Josh is a young man with a powerful submissive urge. He yearns to please a master and be loved and cherished in return, but so far he’s been unable to find a master that he clicks with. His latest master wanted a robot that would do only exactly what he was told and didn’t expect any praise. Josh was never good enough for him and the master has just terminated their trial contract.

Review - The Celestial
My rating:
This review originally appeared on Speak Its Name. As “The Celestial” opens, Todd is working his claim in the mountains near Truckee, about 90 miles northeast of Sacramento. It’s about 20 years after the California gold rush started, but there are still a lot of men like Todd staking claims and hoping to strike it rich. Egged on by his irascible uncle, who was invalided in the civil war, Todd has stole away in the night, leaving his mother to care for her brother on their tumble-down farm near Sacramento.

WIP - Worlds Apart
Quite a few things happening at once now, as always: Worlds Apart I just finished the first draft of another book, which I’m calling “Worlds Apart” for now. I even, just a few days ago, made a first stab at the cover. This book is another new departure for me, since the best category I can put it in is Science Fiction, although at its core there’s still a story of the relationship between two men.
