Review - No Shame by Nora Phoenix
My rating:
FBI agent Miles was injured protecting Indy when hitmen raided the farm where they were hiding. Since Miles has no family, Indy and Noah have him moved to a hospital in Albany so they can take care of him while he recovers. Their friend Brad can also help Miles with his very unique ‘problem.’ Once he is discharged, Miles comes to live with Indy, Noah, Josh and Connor, as well as Brad and Charlie, who are staying with them after Charlie escaped his abusive boyfriend.
Review - A Neighborly Seduction by Alex Pendragon
My rating:
As a university researcher, Ezra is used to moving around, changing jobs, and moving to a new town when the grants end. He’s settling into yet another new rented house in another university town. At least the five college boys in the house next door are friendly. They invite Ezra over to watch a game. It seems innocent enough and at first the guys seem like the college jocks that Ezra expects.
Review - No Filter by Nora Phoenix
My rating:
Indy has been on the run for a year and a half. He changed his name and spends most of his time in public presenting as a woman. He doesn’t stay in one place for long, and can’t afford to get attached to anyone. Who would want a messed up young man like him, anyway? One day, while in a convenience store in upstate New York, the store gets held up and a man standing next to Indy has a meltdown.

Review - Garden of Mysteries by Drake LaMarque
My rating:
Alistair is looking forward to starting the new term at school with his three boyfriends. Two new professors have been bought in with a view to potentially helping the young man finally break the curse on one of his lovers, William. Unfortunately, there still seems to be someone at the college determined to get Alistair in trouble, or worse. “Garden of Mysteries” is the second and concluding story of the Misselthwaite College series.
Review - Garden of Secrets by Drake LaMarque
My rating:
On the eve of his twentieth birthday, Alistair feels more lonely than ever. His parents are going out, without him. They never take him to any of the parties they go to almost every night. The two hardly interact with Alistair at all. He's had tutors but has never been to school. Then, that night, his parents are killed. When their will is read, it presents Alistair with a choice: He can live on an impossibly small allowance until he's 25, or if Alistair attends Misselthwaite college for a year, he can come into his full inheritance.
Review - Dette Management: Mounting Interest by Lilo Quie
My rating:
Rama is a young dette from the sub-continent who is raised to be submissive and obedient for any drake he is ultimately paired with, but he's promised to be pampered as the precious treasure that dettes are. However, after his first heat, his father ‘trades” him to an American dragon in exchange for a dowry of land for his brother in the new world. It turns out that the drake isn't what Rama expected, and he spends 40 years isolated from the world under his drake's thumb, bearing him no pups at all.
Review - Cherish by Lexi Ander
My rating:
Kindly note that some of the more interesting aspects of this story are hard to discuss without revealing a few details of the plot. The GyrFalconi of Aires 7 have lived in relative isolation for hundreds of years; the technology that bought them across two galaxies to their new planet largely forgotten. That leaves them totally unprepared to fight off the Terrens who invade their planet to mine the rich deposits of an high energy crystal, enslaving large numbers of the GyrFalconi to work the mines.
