Review - A Fine Mess by Angel Martinez

My rating:

One of Shax’s enemies may be dead, but there are still a few others out for the demon’s head. However, he, along with the rest of the crew, are tired of running and decide to take on their enemies. It’s a risky endeavor, especially with the latest members of the “crew” being a group of young children rescued from one of the people now carrying a grudge against Shax and his friends.

The Hunt for Red Fluffy by Angel Martinez

My rating:

When a stray hellcat - a creature only a demon can posses - appears on the station where the Brimstone has stopped, it’s obvious to just about everyone except Shax that it’s a trap, but he takes possession of the beast anyway. Thus begins a quite literal cat and mouse game as the demon prince and his crew try to outrun and outmaneuver the criminal gang out to capture them.

Review - Beside A Black Tarn by Angel Martinez

My rating:

The adventures of the demon prince of thieves Shax, his fallen angel lover Ness and their ragtag crew continues in the latest installment of the Brimstone series. Things get off to a rocky start when Shax bumps into an old flame, who also happens to be a spy. Soon after, he hears about a fantastical, yet apparently abandoned, experimental house that seems to have the ability to make dreams come true, or at least appear to.

Review - Brimstone: Demon Owned and Operated

My rating:

Shax, the demon Prince of Thieves, had a bit of a falling out with Lucifer, so now he, along with his best friend and partner in crime Verrin, Lord of Impatience, have left earth to seek their fortunes among the stars. They’ve acquired a cargo ship, appropriately named Brimstone, which Shax captains and Verrin pilots. They’ll take almost any job, even, or perhaps especially, legally questionable ones. This omnibus edition of three stories recounts several of the pair’s escapades.
