Review - Fearing the Dream by Ann Marie James
My rating:
Sergei spots Stuart at the wedding of mutual friends and starts chatting with him. Both are enjoying the conversation, but when Sergei suddenly leaves without getting Stuart’s phone number, Stuart just assumes that he’s not interesting enough for the Russian-born business man. Turned out by his parents when he reached 18 simply because he was surplus to requirements, it’s no surprise Stuart has some self-esteem issues. Sergei is much the opposite.

Dallas and Justin have been together for five years. Justin also works for Dallas as a mechanic in his shop, but they’ve worked out how to separate their work and personal lives. Justin is lucky to survive, but his severe injuries include some brain damage, which has left him with no memory of the last five years.

Review - Caulky by K.M. Neuhold
My rating:
Ren has just broken up with his partner of five years. His best friend decided that the best thing for Ren to do is get drunk and get laid. He does a little too well on the getting-drunk part, so when his friend convinces him to approach Cole, the big construction worker won’t go farther than a kiss, but what a kiss. It takes Ren a while to screw up the courage to go back to the bar for more, but Cole is there and neither man is disappointed, but can a hookup really lead to a full relationship, and is that what either man wants?

Review - The Last Drop by Layla Reyne
My rating:
Greg is drowning his sorrows in alcohol after the failure of his latest restaurant in New Orleans. It’s the third eatery in a row the he’s opened and had to close. However, tonight there’s one small point of light on the horizon. The bartender serving him is a very hot little hipster dude, and to make it even better, the man makes the best cocktails he’s ever tasted. Bartender Tony is just as attracted to the burly chef, but it’s his last night in New Orleans.

Review - Top Priority by Cara Dee
My rating:
Lucas is caught in a storm driving back to his home in DC from the south. His car is damaged so he limps into the nearest town where the garage says it will take a day or so to fix. He stumbles, literally, into a nearby bar to get something to eat. A potentially disastrous with some locals is averted by the timely intercession by Colt, an air force pilot also stuck in town for the night.

Review - Chasing the Dream by Ann Marie James
My rating:
When Lee shows up at Kirk’s garage, he’s badly in need of a job and a place to stay, in that order. He’s just been thrown out by his homophobic father and beaten up by his older brother. Lucky for him, an old employee from his father’s garage can vouch for him being a good mechanic. What’s more, there’s an old apartment over the shop that Kirk can rent to him cheap.

Review - The Story of Us by Logan Meredith
My rating:
At 40, Kyle considers himself a pretty ordinary guy leading a pretty settled life. About the most exciting thing he’s doing is going back to school to get his college degree. It’s at the school where Kyle more or less literally runs into Lucas, a much younger man who is perhaps the most beautiful guy Kyle has ever laid eyes on. Lucas is definitely out of Kyle’s league, yet the attraction seems mutual.

Review - Thiago by Romeo Preminger
My rating:
Nate is a high flier in an international financial services company. He’s busy socking enough money away to retire at 35, and doesn’t have time for a social life. Work, the gym and doing his own laundry occupy his time, and Grindr fulfills the occasional sexual urge. Nate is working alone late one night when the hot new night-time security guard Thiago stops by to check on him. Brazilian Thiago pushes all of Nate’s buttons and before he can think about it, the two are having sex on his desk.

Review - Love and Tea Bags by C F White
My rating:
At 39, Mark considers himself too old to be attractive to other men any more. He lives a quiet life in an English seaside town full of retirees and tells himself he’s happy being alone. Mark’s one passion is his tea, but when he walks into the local tea shop one day he’s greeted by the sight of the most beautiful young man he’s ever laid eyes on. Bradley is the epitome of an Australian surfer dude: blond hair, muscled body toned to perfection, and an outgoing sunny personality to match.

Review - Tea by Mathew J. Metzger
My rating:
Big burly electrician John ducks into a crowded coffee shop to escape the rain and grab a cup of tea when he bumps into a table and spills some coffee on Chris, a younger man who pushes all of John’s buttons. John may tower over most people and have to walk sideways through doors, and people may draw the wrong ideas from his appearance, but he’s no monster. After a disastrous end to his last relationship, though, he’s not sure.
