Review - The Luckiest Master by Sean Michael
My rating:
Damien, ‘Day’ to his friends, is the new front office manager for the Iron Eagle Gym. It’s more than one person can handle and he’s desperate to find an assistant who can help him out. He wouldn’t mind finding a full time sub while he’s at it, but he doesn’t expect to find them both in the same man. ‘Saw’ is the perfect assistant, and he’s clearly a submissive who needs a master to take care of, only, having already lost one master and failed at business, Saw is convinced that he’s bad luck.

Review - What It Looks Like by Matthew J. Metzger
My rating:
Eli is the son of a policeman and a forensic scientist. His parents clearly care for him, perhaps a little too much, but don’t really understand what the young man is going through. They certainly don’t understand Eli’s choice in boyfriends. Rob is almost the exact opposite of Eli. Abused as a child, Rob is very much from the wrong side of the tracks. He has had several run-ins with the law, and even spent a few years in prison.
Review - Dom of Ages by K.C. Wells and Parker Williams
My rating:
Submissive Jarod served his master Phillip for more than 20 years, but then Phillip dies in a plane crash leaving his sub with nobody to care for. It takes him several years of grieving before he can convince himself to go to a club again in the hopes of finding a new Dom. At 50 years old, he knows his chances are slim. What Dom is going to want a mature sub?
Review - The New Boy by Sean Michael
My rating:
Lance is a talented young photographer with a potentially lucrative commission to produce a series of kinky cards for a private collector, but he can only collect that big paycheck if he can find the right models to pose for the pictures. He begins to despair of finding the right men when Tide shows up for an interview, along with his friends Tyrone and his submissive Bran. Right away he knows that maintaining a professional demeanor behind the camera with three hot men getting kinky in front of him is going to be difficult.
Review - Beautiful Boy by Grace R. Duncan
My rating:
Kyle is a young man who seems to have everything going for him. He comes from a well off family, who have provided a good education, a loft in town for him to live in, and his own car. But his family didn’t give him much love or attention, and if they knew he was gay, he would lose everything. It’s perhaps not too surprising that Kyle doesn’t have a very high opinion of his value, and you might wonder if this is what draws him so strongly to being a submissive when a friend introduces him to the BDSM world.
Review - Meeting Tiberius and Other Roman Tales by Clodia Metilli
My rating:
In this collection of stories featuring Gaius, Tiberius, Achilles and other characters from the previous two books of the series, we learn a bit more about Gaius’ past as well as glimpses of the future after the end of Gaius and Achilles. The first story, which gives the collection its name, recounts how Gaius and Tiberius first met, while later ones tell us about Achilles’ life with Gaius after being freed.

Review - Becoming Cherished by Sara York
My rating:
Scotty tries to exorcise the demons of his past by being a Dom. He believes that being in control is the key to not being hurt again. He also tries to keep his relationships with his subs at arms length, because letting them get too close can also lead to disappointment. Wesley is young and inexperienced, and he challenges almost everything Scotty has done to protect himself. At first Scotty tries to bring Wesley into the lifestyle, and the younger man seems willing in the beginning, but then events overtake both men and threatens their budding relationship.
Review - The Eidolon's Conquest by Yamila Abraham
My rating:
In this vision of a possible not-to-distant future, the Eidolon are a genetically engineered race of super-humans, bred by their super-computer master with a thirst for conquest and domination. The Eidolon and their robot army have been locked in a war with the humans for many years. The war is draining resources on both sides, with the Eidolon running low on raw materials, and the humans losing hundreds of soldiers in every battle.

Review - Master Takes a Name by Sean Michael
My rating:
Note: This review was written for and originally appeared at BDSM Book Reviews. Blurb: Before he can embrace his future, he must accept himself. Kael is happy with his life. A consummate sub, he’s out, proud, and surrounded by good friends. Then he hears about Master L, a new Dom who has all the twinks aflutter. Kael’s curious, but not unduly so, until he and the stud do a scene. Then he understands the commotion.
Review - Breach of Contract
My rating:
This sequel to Legally Bound picks up right where the first book left off, with lawyer Daniel learning the ropes - if you’ll pardon the expression - of submission from his Dom, and former client, Rafael. However, it’s Daniel’s law partner Jesse and Rafael’s boss, club owner George, who take center stage in this installment of the story. Jesse finally decides to risk his father-in-law’s wrath and leave his shrewish socialite wife.
