Justin works in the office of a small factory with the owner. They’re both there on a Sunday afternoon with only a couple of people in the warehouse when the forklift driver has a heart attack, resulting in a crash that spills industrial lubricant everywhere. The driver is taken to hospital and the boss orders Justin to help the one other person working that day to clean up the mess while he goes out to buy a shop vacuum to help. Teo, the other worker, is a man Justin has had a crush on from the start, but the muscled jock is out of his league and probably straight. At Teo’s suggestion, the two strip down to their underwear to avoid ruining their clothes. Two young men, almost naked, in a room full of silicon lubricant, what could go wrong?
“Sloppy” is a short and spicy story following the start of a seemingly unlikely relationship between a muscled jock and a geeky twink. It’s very much an opposites-attract story that essentially boils down to three hot scenes between Justin and Teo.
The book is narrated entirely from Justin’s point of view. He’s a young man in his first job out of school, eager to make a good impression. Teo’s body is the stuff of Justin’s dreams, but he’s too shy to approach the man. He has to settle for what he thinks are furtive looks at Teo when he visits the shop floor.
We only get to know Teo through Justin’s eyes, and even then, we don’t get to know him well. He’s not stupid, but if we’re calling Justin a twink then the term “himbo” may still be applicable to Teo.
