My rating:
The rebellious incursion into one of Anrodnes’ neighbors instigated by Raine’s brothers has been quashed, and the brothers have paid with their lives. Now Prince Zaran can return return to the capital, and bring the banished concubine, and trained assassin, Hredeen with him. Nobody knows how the emperor will react to being reunited with his former favorite, not even the Chosen, Raine, who stands to lose the most. There’s more at stake than just feelings, the War Guild seems bent on bringing down the Anrodnes empire.

Review - Thiago by Romeo Preminger
My rating:
Nate is a high flier in an international financial services company. He’s busy socking enough money away to retire at 35, and doesn’t have time for a social life. Work, the gym and doing his own laundry occupy his time, and Grindr fulfills the occasional sexual urge. Nate is working alone late one night when the hot new night-time security guard Thiago stops by to check on him. Brazilian Thiago pushes all of Nate’s buttons and before he can think about it, the two are having sex on his desk.

Review - In the Name of the Father by Morticia Knight
My rating:
An advance copy of this book was provided free of charge for this review. Seth has escaped his extremely homophobic father, whose religious beliefs led him to try and beat the gay out of his own son, and sending him to brutal conversion camps. He finally screws up the courage to visit a gay bar, where he’s aggressively approached by a pair of jerks. Malcolm is just trying to have a quiet drink, but he’s not the type of guy who can stand seeing another person picked on, and once he gets a better look at Seth, he knows the young man needs a guiding hand.

Review - Love and Tea Bags by C F White
My rating:
At 39, Mark considers himself too old to be attractive to other men any more. He lives a quiet life in an English seaside town full of retirees and tells himself he’s happy being alone. Mark’s one passion is his tea, but when he walks into the local tea shop one day he’s greeted by the sight of the most beautiful young man he’s ever laid eyes on. Bradley is the epitome of an Australian surfer dude: blond hair, muscled body toned to perfection, and an outgoing sunny personality to match.

Review - S.I.R. by N.R. Walker
My rating:
Founded over 400 years ago, the Sanctus Infinitus Redemptio has grown rich and powerful yet still remains secretive and strictly devoted to its founding principles that values submission and the responsibilities of dominants above all else. So, when one of the three grand masters, Dalton, notices signs that Hunter has been whipped, in direct violation of his hard limit, he wastes no time in recalling Hunter and his Dom, who is subjected to “retraining”.
Review - Farborn by Lesli Richardson
My rating:
Human Davies is an ether-drive navigator, one of the most elite jobs among the space-faring worlds. He can decide who he works for and ether-drive ships can’t leave port without him. Davies is an orphan, with the proverbial girl-in-every-port, although in his case, he prefers men, or the equivalent of whatever species sparks his interest. He rarely hooks up with the same people for long, and he thinks he prefers it that way.

Review - Facing Fears by Morticia Knight
My rating:
The long investigation into the human trafficking ring that kidnaped Corey and Marshall is finally coming to a successful conclusion, but not before threatening another one of the subs associated with Kiss of Leather. While most of the owners of the club celebrate the end of the nightmare along with their subs and friends, one of the partners isn’t able to join in the fun. New partner Hunter is smarting over mishandling one of the club subs, Tobey.
Review - Forever Nine by Kris T. Bethke
My rating:
Jesse is the youngest of nine children, and even though he’s in his late twenties, his family still treats him like a baby. They even insist on calling him “Nine” instead of using his proper name, no matter how many times he tells them he doesn’t like it. What Jesse really likes is his neighbor Holden. He’d like nothing more than to submit to the obvious Dom, but Holden doesn’t think Jesse is serious and so the two remain friends.
Review - History of Beauty by Meraki P. Lyhne
My rating:
More than a thousand years before Daniel was born, another royal emerged in the Norse regions of Europe. Like Daniel, Elakdon was almost immediately faced with dealing with new problems coming to the ancient Cubi peoples. Chief among these is a new religion sweeping north: Christianity. It’s a faith whose beliefs demonize and directly threaten the Cubi, who have traditionally lived openly alongside humans. “History of Beauty” is a story within the larger story of the Cubi series.
