My rating: * * * *

Kaspar is a thief. He’s very good at picking locks and stealing valuables from people’s homes. It’s not a life he would have chosen, but as an orphaned child on the streets, the other options were far worse. He ends up working for a crime boss who runs drugs and brothels. Things Kasper doesn’t want to be associated with. To get out, the boss orders him to do one last job: steal something valuable from a jewelry shop called The Dragon’s Treasure in Edge city.

Review - Saved by the Bear by Holly Day

My rating: * * * *

Frode just found out he inherited a cabin in the woods along with a book from his recently deceased uncle. The book appears to be able to tell the future, but he isn't sure it can be trusted. It also shows a bear hanging around his house. Frode's downstairs neighbor, Imre, might be a bit scary, but he isn't a bear, right? “Saved by the Bear” is a short and sweet fairy tale of a story.

Carlo and his best friend Grace are having drinks, commiserating over the loss of Carlo's cheating boyfriend. They've had a bit too much to drink, and on their way home they're kidnapped by aliens along with several other earth women. Captain Zenon and his crew have been ordered to bring back some earth women to try and solve their race's reproductive issues. The male, Carlo, isn't necessary but there's something about the man that “Zen” can't resist, even though it makes him uncomfortable.
