Rawson, who prefers to be called “Raw”, is a boxer on the way up when he meets Edward, a former boxer who is now retired. The two don’t hit it off at first. Raw isn’t out and has a formidable wall of anger built around his emotions. Edward has his own baggage to deal with as well, but the two eventually manage to connect. That’s just the start of a roller-coaster ride of a relationship.

Christopher returns home from work early one day to find his boyfriend in bed with not one, but two, other men. Incensed by the betrayal, Chris sells the house and his business and moves to an isolated community high in the mountains, where he buys an old church in need of repair. To get some tools, Chris visits the town’s hardware store, where he meets Jarrod and his daughter Mary.

Review - That Little Book Shop in Rome where it's Easy to Murder Someone by Lee Quail

Adrian’s aunt Clarissa died and left him her bookshop in Rome. He isn’t sure why. On arriving, he meets the eccentric group of people who work in the shop and learns that Clarissa was, in fact, murdered because she and the others were on the trail of a ruthless human trafficking network with ties to the Vatican. Adrian can’t help looking into the problem, which puts him in the sights of people who will kill to keep their lucrative operation running.
