Review - Raffled by the Tentacle Elite by Kit Luxe

Logan has just graduated and is having trouble finding work. On a lark, he signs up for a job fair operated by the Elite, the tentacled aliens that are part of the Galactic Alliance that has taken control of earth. There are so many other applicants at the fair, Logan doesn’t have high hopes of landing a job, but he is effectively guided through the fair and encouraged to move towards the center of the hall where the winning applicants will be announced.

The Galactic Alliance arrived on Earth with promises to make everything better, and they did, for some. Theo lives on the streets, outside the system. He eats food he finds discarded in dumpsters and sleeps in alleys well out of sight from the main streets. That’s to avoid the “sweepers” that round up homeless people. There are all sorts of stories about what happens to the humans collected by the alliance sweepers.
