Review - Dragon's Descent by Sam Burns and W.M. Fawkes
My rating:
Arkadii has watched over King Dimitri “Dima” for more than a decade. The two were lovers once, but when Dima ascended the throne after his father’s brutal murder, he turned his back on his guardian, fearing their love would make him weak. Arkadii has had to stand watch over the man he loves while Dima descends into madness under the pressure that tradition says the kings of Voronezh must bear alone.

Review - Dragon's Dusk by Sam Burns and W.M. Fawkes
My rating:
Prince Kostya loves his dragon, Kirian. People hate and fear Kirian because of something that happened when he was young and afraid, but Kostya knows his dragon is sweet and gentle. Still, Kirian is kept isolated from the rest of the dragons. The only one who comes to see him is Kostya, who would love to free his dragon, but he knows the mad king, his cousin, will never allow it.

My rating:
Kirby, Cai and Harlan have moved into a cottage well removed from the Riders’ keep after an attempt on Kirby’s life. Cai lost his magical powers and the bond to his dragon saving Kirby. It’s a lot for the two men to deal with, and Harlan feels it’s his job to help his two lovers cope with the situation. There’s also the fact that Kirby’s dragon is about to lay eggs, the first clutch born in several generations of riders.
Review - Dette Forgiveness by Lilo Quie
My rating:
Rolf has been treated poorly by his father as well as the other drakes in his clan, who hold on to the belief that dettes are little more than chattel. Due to concerns about his welfare, Rolf has been put under Leo's care. That hasn’t stopped his father from sending drakes around to court him. Rolf can barely stand to talk to any of them. The only man he is truly attracted to is Weston.

Review - The Dragon's Prisoner by Holly Day
My rating:
Kaspar is a thief. He’s very good at picking locks and stealing valuables from people’s homes. It’s not a life he would have chosen, but as an orphaned child on the streets, the other options were far worse. He ends up working for a crime boss who runs drugs and brothels. Things Kasper doesn’t want to be associated with. To get out, the boss orders him to do one last job: steal something valuable from a jewelry shop called The Dragon’s Treasure in Edge city.

Review - Dragon's Dawn by Sam Burns and W.M. Fawkes
My rating:
Genya has been raised mostly by his mother. The slightly built young man spends his time having tea with the ladies of the court rather than in the “manly” pursuits preferred by his older brother and father. Genya has learned that it’s better to stay out of his father’s scheming sights. At nineteen years old, it can’t last. Genya expects to be married off one day, but is surprised when his father agrees to a plan by the king’s brother to have Genya wed Prince Mikhail.
Review - DragonRider by S. Rodman
My rating:
Kirby has set himself up as a sort of freelance mage, offering wards, spells, maybe the odd potion, to whomever needs them. He receives a commission involving a castle in Wales, but he’s not sure of the specifics. When he arrives, the imperious young man who greets him informs Kirby that he is just there to “round out the numbers” for the selection of a new dragon rider. Dragons were one of the few mythical creatures that Kirby was sure didn’t exist, so he’s thrilled just to get to meet one.
