Review - Broadway Butchery by C.S. Poe
My rating:
Detective Everett Larkin is called to a souvenir shop in Times Square where workmen have uncovered the mummified remains of a young woman. It doesn’t take long for the clues to point to another serial killer connected to the mysterious figure that’s been taunting Larkin. Once again, Larkin’s boyfriend and police forensic artist Ira Doyle, is there to lend a hand and provide emotional support. “Broadway Butchery” is the third murder mystery in the Memento Mori series.

Review - Subway Slayings by C.S. Poe
My rating:
Everett Larkin is ready to go back on duty after recovering from injuries he received on his last case. He doesn’t even get to his desk in the squadroom before Larkin is called to the scene of a murder. It doesn’t look like a job for the cold case detective, but an old photograph of a dead girl says otherwise. Larkin once again partners with forensic artist Ira Doyle and together the pair uncover a murder spree that has gone on for decades.

Review - Madison Square Murders by C.S. Poe
My rating:
Detective Everett Larkin has an excellent memory. It’s not just photographic. Everett has a very rare quality that allows him to remember everything he sees. Everything he hears. Everything he feels. It may seem like a very good attribute for a cold case detective to have, but the emotional cost is quite high, since any event in his day may send Larkin spiraling back to relieve a past trauma. His latest case proves to be a minefield.
