Review - Hoverballerino by Beryll Brackhaus and Osiris Brackhaus
My rating:
Rene is back home on Floor, continuing his training to become a full-fledged agent of the Circle. Part of that training includes improving his social skills and to help with that, Rene takes a job in a tea shop where he can interact with regular people. It’s a big challenge for the young man, whose unique psionic ability made being around people difficult until he learned to shield his senses.
Review - His Princess by KI Brightly and M.D. Gregory
My rating:
Colt arrives home from work to find his wife has packed up her things and left. It’s not a surprise, since he walked in on her cheating on him a few months ago. What is surprising is that she left without saying anything to her son. Quin arrives home from nursing school to find his mother gone, and his stepfather clearly isn’t happy. The young man is gay and with his long hair, he has a slightly feminine look.

Review - When a Man Loves an Alien by Chloe Archer
My rating:
River and his alien fiance Kai have moved in together and are talking about marriage. First, though, they have to deal with the galaxy’s most feared and successful assassin, who has been hired to kill River. They’re going to need lots of luck to keep River alive, but it seems the young man has been blessed with an abundance of that. Will it be enough? This third book of the Tentacular Tales series is perhaps the funniest yet.

Review - Desert Run by Marshall Thornton
My rating:
Don has a gig playing the piano in a Palm Springs bar, in the off season. Don isn’t his real name. He’s been on the run after accidentally killing the son of a mobster in a bar fight back in Chicago. One night, a woman comes to the bar and takes Don back to her motel, where she eventually reveals she knows who he is. Don is on the run again with hired thugs on his heals.
Review - Havana Bay by John Patrick
My rating:
Hank Mannix is helping Hans manage his new guest house in Havana. Along with former FBI agent Tony Cordero, Hank also poses in scantily clad scenes for a “physique” style magazine, the very soft-core gay porn of the day. He doesn’t want to admit it, but with his thirtieth birthday approaching, Hank’s days as a pin-up boy are numbered. Hank is also wondering why he is so attracted to the cute Cuban gardener he’s seen watching him.

Review - The Pirate’s Treasure by Lisa Oliver
My rating:
Pirate Captain Rojan has had his eye on Petrov for quite some time. He might be just a little bit obsessed with the duke who acts as bodyguard to the Crown Prince, now married to his half brother, the king. When the two are thrown together after Rojan is attacked, Petrov finds the pirate “infuriating,” but can’t seem to stay away from the man. Together, the pair try to track down the people trying to undermine the new king, which may be easier than surviving their hastily arranged nuptials.
Review - Their Alien by M.A. Innes
My rating:
Reid and Nolan have been boyfriends for a while, but their relationship has hit a bit of a rocky patch. Nolan is a submissive who desires a bit of pain, as well as a “little” who enjoys regressing. Reid’s past makes him wary of BDSM. He wants to give Nolan what he needs, but he doesn’t want to hurt him. When the pair meet one of the new aliens, Edward, things start to fall into place.
