Nick hasn’t heard from Ben since their one night of passion, but that’s okay with him. Nick’s life has been a long string of one-night-stands with no commitments, and that’s the way he likes it. He still can’t get Ben out of his mind, though. Maybe he just needs more time, so a trip to Vancouver, Canada to liaise with an international team investigating money laundering might be just the thing.

Fresh out of school and working his first full time accounting job, Ben wants to make a good impression. When he starts seeing large discrepancies, he thinks he’s found something significant, even if it is in the company’s favor. Ben takes what he’s found to his boss, who isn’t the sharpest stick. The boss says he’ll take it to the owner, but then ends up dead, execution style, a few days later.
Review - The Other Side of Winter by G.B. Gordon

It’s been a year since Bengt returned to Skane from Santuario after helping Alex solve a murder case. Although their affair was brief, Bengt still misses Alex. Now, the borders are finally open between the two colonies and Alex, as promised, is on the first flight out. But starting over is never easy and Alex has a lot of demons to exorcise. Is Bengt really willing to put up with the walls Alex has had to build to survive in Santuario?

Review - Santuario by G.B. Gordon

In the distant future, on a far-away planet, there are two human colonies with distinctly different cultures. The Skanians were the original colonists, apparently descended from Scandinavian stock. The later arrivals crash-landed more than 200 years before this story begins. For reasons nobody seems quite sure of, the newcomers were isolated on an island they call Santuario in the sweltering tropics, where they’ve had little contact with the Skanians. Alex is a police lieutenant in a small coastal village on Santuario.
