It’s a bittersweet Christmas Eve for Mike and Karl. The two lovers and newly graduated physicians have landed plum internships at New York’s Bellevue Hospital, but that means spending the holiday away from their many friends back in New Orleans and missing the annual get-together on Christmas Eve. The two are about to console each other with a night of sex when there’s a knock at the door, which turns out to be a man dressed as Santa Claus. Only, this Kris Kringle turns out to be a young Adonis who draws the two men into an exploration of their sexual fantasies.

“Just Call Me Kris” is a short story of just under 6,000 words. You will probably finish it in a single sitting, like I did. While the story is essentially complete erotica, there’s still enough character development to make it a good read and give a completeness to the plot that’s often missing in many short stories. I do think the pricing is a little expensive for such a short work, but if you can get it for less and like shorts, this is one to consider.

“Just Call Me Kris” is available from JMS Books, Amazon or Smashwords.
