The Hot Floor

Josh is a shy young man living in Bath. He was recently dumped by his boyfriend and now lives in a small apartment on the top floor of a run-down converted house. He likes his job as a glass blower, making traditional ornaments, but otherwise he has a rather empty life with few friends. As the story opens, Josh is crushing on his downstairs neighbors, Evan and Rai. The big strapping Evan from Manchester and geeky Japanese Rai make an unlikely couple. They're as different as chalk and sushi, but the two men seem devoted to each other. They also seem to enjoy a very active sex life, as Josh is reminded when he visits his friend Denise, who lives on the floor below Evan and Rai. The sounds of their lovemaking can be clearly heard in Denise's rooms. More...

His religious parents threw him out on the street when he told them he was gay, and after one visit to him in the hospital, they tell the doctors to take him off life support. More...

For his part, Hunter has trouble dealing with the rapid pace at which the relationship is progressing, and the depth of his feelings for Dillon. Used to being in control, Hunter has a hard time accepting that he can't fix all of Dillon's problems with his past and his family. More...

Reclamation

Volume 2 of Acclaimation

This continuation of the story of a developing love between teacher Michael Cassidy and his student Dominic Butler, started in Acclamation, picks up right where the first book left off, with Dominic and Michael in a London hotel room just moments after learning of the death of Dominic's father. It's a long story: A Novel About Beautiful Boys Doing Terrible Things to Each Other

James is a stereotypical gay party boy. He dropped out of college and works as a waiter to earn just enough to pay his share of the rent, buy the right clothes, and pay for drinks on his weekly nights out. He appears to drink too much when he's out, and his love life seems to consist mostly of guys he picks up at the club or hookups found on the web.

One of those hookups is Dan, a nerdy heavyset guy that James nonetheless clicks with. The two end up seeing a lot of each other, but James has commitment issues and backs off if there's any sign things might get serious. James' main issue is AJ, the man he dropped out of college for and followed to Europe and back on a sexual adventure. AJ uses men and then tosses them aside, just like he did with James, only it seems AJ hasn't quite forgotten his former lover either. More...
